The soul is understood here as the totality of the psyche &#8211; encompassing both what is conscious and what lies hidden in the unconscious. The therapeutic process can thus be seen as psychagogy: a way of accompanying the soul in its own movement toward integration and transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The symbolic image from the <em>Rosarium Philosophorum<\/em> is of a significant importance to me. It depicts the union of opposites &#8211; king and queen &#8211; from which something new and healing is born.
